What is the one thing people will regret forever if they miss it?

I contend we never meet anyone by chance.  Sunday, we planned to meet with people at a restaurant after church.  That restaurant was closed and so was the second.  We then met at our third choice.  A couple of gentlemen came in and sat at the table next to us.  After we prayed, one of the men said, “Amen!  I was praying with you.”  He then told us his wife died the day before on her birthday.  We prayed again for him and I plan to follow up in the days to come.  So keep your eyes open; you never know who God will put in your path.

In October Janet and I are heading to Illinois to get together with our family.  I am scheduled to speak at Arcola Missionary Baptist Church October 17 and the Allenville Christian Church October 24.

I am also planning to take Compassion’s Calling on the road to Lumberton, NC, in November.  Lord willing, Lumber River Quartet will have an open air Gospel concert in the midst of a community near Bethel Baptist Church.  My goal is to visit there for a week in preparation for the concert.

Our goal is to encourage the saints, enlist the lost, engage the church, and be positive examples of the body of Christ.  Pray for the planning, preparation, and the meeting in November.

  • What is the one thing people will regret forever if they miss it?  (Heaven)

  • Remember, as Christians, we are not better than others, but through God’s grace, we are better off.

  • Keep praying, for prayer is the key that opens the doors and provides the way.
